Q: What´s with the blue and yellow color scheme?

Q: What´s with the blue and yellow color scheme?
A: LOL, well, the blue and yellow is just something to get the site started. This site is still very much under construction, and I expect it to undergo many changes over the coming weeks and months. One of those changes will be a new color scheme. If you have any suggestions, please email me. By the way, the color scheme used for this FAQ page was one that was suggested by a friend.

A: I´m open to almost anything, but at present my main photographic interests are:
- Anime Costume Photography (of course!)
- Outdoor Portraiture
- Casual

Q: Do you have a Cosplay.com user name?
A: Yes. A lot of visitors to DigitalCosplay.com are active members of the Cosplay.com community, and they asked me to join Cosplay.com and participate in some of the forums. I try to keep a very low profile, but when I do participate in a forum it is under the name "DigitalCosplay."

A: Yes, and I´m signed on a lot. My AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) screen name is:

Q: You took some pictures of me at Katsucon 11 and I was wondering if I could use some of the pictures. Are there any rules I need to follow?
A: You are welcome to use some of the pictures you appear in as long as you follow the Photo Usage policy.

Q: Do you do photo shoots? What kinds?
A: Yes. Anime and other styles. Please email me if you are interested in a photo shoot.
Photo shoots at Anime conventions follow one set of rules, and all other photo shoots follow a second set of rules.
For photo shoots in public places at Anime conventions I don´t require a chaperone, as you are in a public place. I don´t require a model release, but I certainly appreciate it when you sign one.
For photo shoots other than at Anime conventions, I REQUIRE that you bring a chaperone (and I strongly suggest that you bring a chaperone to any photo shoot). I will also require that you sign a "model release", or if you are under eighteen (18) years of age, that a parent or guardian sign the model release and be present at the photo shoot. The type and language of the release varies depending upon the type of photo shoot.

A: Yes. I plan on attending Otakon, and have already reserved a hotel room. I plan to do a limited number of photo shoots at Otakon 2005. If you are interested in scheduling a photo shoot at Otakon, please email me to arrange a photo shoot.

Q: What Anime conventions do you plan to attend in 2005?
A: Well, I started out the year with Katsucon (just ended). My current plans include Anime Mid-Atlantic (June 17-19) and Otakon (August 19-21). I´ll probably add Anime USA to the list and perhaps others. Suggestions?

Q: I noticed that you have some pictures from Otakon 2004, but have posted only a few of the pictures. Why?
A: At Otakon 2004 I found that while some people wanted their picture taken and posted on the web, a few others didn´t want their picture posted on the web. As I had limited web server space and bandwidth available to me, I decided that I´d only post pictures of people who gave me permission to post their picture. Thus, the pictures you see in the Otakon 2004 section are pictures for which permission to post was received.
If you were at Otakon 2004, I may have taken your picture (I took over 1,500 pictures of Cosplayers at Otakon). I also took over 500 pictures at Katsucon 10 (2004). If you think I might have taken your picture, please email me and I´ll attempt to locate your pictures.

Q: I don´t think I've seen your site before. Is it new?
A: Yes. The site went live on Friday, February 18th, 2005. It is still under construction, and probably will be for several weeks, maybe longer.

Q: I notice you have a "Store" link, but all it says is "Coming Soon". What is the purpose of the Store and what do you intend to sell there?
A: The store has not been set up yet, nor has its use been completely planned. One purpose it will serve is selling prints of photos taken at Anime conventions. Beginning with Katsucon 11 (February, 2005), primary photography is with an 8 megapixel Canon Digital camera. Initially, prints up to 12"x18" will be offered.
